Heavily influenced by action-packed movies like Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Back to the Future, Jeff knew early on in life that he would one day be a part of the filmmaking world. While attending Ithaca College in New York, Jeff worked as a sound designer for student projects. It was then that he realized his passion for audio effects, as well as film, television and video game design. While working for the SyFy’s Battlestar Gallactica series, Jeff contributed to the sounds of the Cylon Raiders, which later became a signature sound effect of the BSG universe. The audio effects he most enjoys working on are spaceships, vehicles, weapons, creatures and doors. Jeff believes that through these nuances, he can add substance and define the character of any scene.
